Deputies: Trio commits armed robbery and assault in Willow Creek

200 lbs. of marijuana and several firearms stolen

WILLOW CREEK, Calif. - The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) is searching for three suspects who allegedly assaulted Willow Creek residents before robbing them at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

On Dec. 6 at around 1:45 a.m., the HCSO received a report that an armed robbery had occurred at a home 12 miles up Titlow Hill Road in the Ammon Ridge area.

The victim told deputies that two males and a female armed with assault rifles came into her house, physically assaulted another victim of the residence, deputies said. The victim then reportedly told deputies that the trio stole 200 pounds of processed marijuana and several firearms.

The sheriff's office is searching for a brown and tan Chevy Suburban-type vehicle, which deputies say the suspects reportedly fled in.
