EUREKA, Calif. - Officials have identified the suspect in an armed carjacking that occurred on Sept.17 behind the Bayshore Mall, according to the Eureka Police Department. 

Police said Brett Hansen, 29, has been identified as the suspect.

According to officials, on Sept. 17 Hansen pulled a gun on a woman and stole her bike after running from the passenger side of a car, stopped for suspected DUI. Officials said then he rode the bike behind the mall and ended up pulling a gun on another woman and stole her silver Ford Focus sedan.  

According to Public Information Officer Brittany Powell, the warrant for the carjacking is currently underway.
