Originally founded in 1956, KRCR News Channel 7 serves the northern California area including the cities of Redding, Chico and Red Bluff. KRCR's studios are located in Redding Ca. with it's transmitter atop Shasta Bally. ABC programming makes up most of the broadcasting schedule.

KRCR News Channel 7 is the highest rated and most viewed news programming in the Chico-Redding area. KRCR also owns and operates sister station KAEF, located in Eureka Ca.
