Carlo Falco
Carlo Falco is a Meteorologist from the small town of Swampscott, Massachusetts just north of Boston. He joined the KRCR Weather Team in April of 2012 and has loved it ever since he started. California is just full of adventures for this native East-Coaster and he is looking forward to everything the Northstate has to offer. Carlo got his Bachelor’s in Meteorology from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire and his Masters is in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College in Boston. While at Emerson he acted as Weather Producer and anchor for the college news channel WEBN. He also won the Collegiate AP award for his weather presentation in 2012.
Carlo comes to KRCR fresh from college on the East Coast and is looking forward to continuing to learn the ins and outs of the TV news business. He has interned at Fox25 in Boston, MA where he helped track the June 1st, 2011 EF3 tornado in Springfield, MA. He and Chief Meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz picked out the tornado producing thunderstorm 6 minutes before the National Weather Service did and before any other new stations.
Carlo loves snow, and is excited for the ski season next year. He loves to snowboard, hike, bicycle, work out, and sail. He is looking forward to summer when the roads clear in Lassen Volcanic National Park. He also loves cars and is looking forward to driving the great roads in the mountains around Redding.
