Tyler May is an Emmy award winning reporter who joined the KRCR News Channel 7 team in May of 2012.

Tyler got his start at Palomar College in San Diego County. He was part of a weekly award winning live newscast called North County News for 3 years. Tyler covered a variety of stories from budget cuts to high-profile murder cases. While at Palomar, Tyler won an Emmy for Best Student Production.

In 2011, Tyler was a reporting intern with KGTV in San Diego where he learned how craft to his skills as a one-man-band reporter.

Tyler was born and raised in Fallbrook, a small town north of San Diego. He enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and playing sports.

He is excited about working with KRCR News Channel 7 and calling Chico his new home.
