We started the work week of with mainly dry conditions although there were a few showers and thunderstorms in the Burney and Hat Creek area. There was even a thunderstorm near Big Bar in Trinity County with a report of small hail.
The area of low pressure responsible for this cooler weather and thunderstorms in the mountains is slowly migrating down the coast and should be to our southeast by the end of the week and into the weekend. As clouds and small amounts of moisture rotate around the area of low pressure we will see periods of off and on clouds with dry conditions for most of us, if not all of us.
It looks like another nice weekend in store for us with highs in the upper 70’s to right around 80 degrees under partly cloudy skies.
