Starting sunny, and will stay that way through the rest of today.

The clouds and showers we saw last night have moved on to bigger and better things leaving Redding sunny and clear.  The sunshine and warm overnight lows will allow temperatures to rise quickly.  In the valley we’ll top out in the mid-50s with temps peaking in the mid to upper 30s in the mountains.  The rest of the week will be largely the same.  High pressure is building in overhead as we speak, and will allow temperatures to rise into the mid to upper 60s in Redding, and low to mid 60s in Chico.  This system will also get rid of the majority of clouds, with only a few high level clouds moving overhead.
