Beautiful weekend weather will give way to much warmer temperatures to start next week.
Temperatures over this weekend will remain slightly above average but as an upper level ridge continues to build in from the southeast we’ll see temperatures climb back up to where they were for the majority of July and August. That means we’ll be dealing with potentially triple digit temperatures from Monday on. With the ridge moving in and a low pressure system stationed offshore, we could see some gusty winds in the higher elevations. There are red flag warnings in effect for the eastern mountains, mainly for low RH values, and gusty winds.
