The clouds last night insulated temperatures, and kept them in the low 50s.  Now the clouds are clearing.

As the clouds continue to clear out through the day we’ll warm correspondingly.  Temperatures will spike in the mid to upper 60s across the valley with a few areas getting close to the 70 degree mark.  Tomorrow will be more of the same, except it will be much sunnier.

Tuesday into Wednesday things change drastically.  We’ll see clear skies in the morning on Tuesday, but will cloud up towards evening.  From there the clouds will thicken and we’ll see some moderate to heavy rain start to move in for early Wednesday morning and through the day on Wednesday.  Initial estimates are putting almost an inch of rain with of this system.  Thursday things get even more interesting as the upper level low passes directly overhead.  That will destabilize the atmosphere and could allow for some thunderstorms to fire off during the middle of the day.  We’ll keep a close on things as they develop.
