One more dry day before clouds and rain move in.

Tomorrow will have lots of clouds overhead, but we’ll stay largely dry throughout the day.  Those clouds will continue to thicken through the day, but the clear skies in the morning will allow us to get into the low to mid 70s for highs.  Tuesday will be completely overcast with high level clouds, slowly thickening throughout the day.  Rain will start in the evening and continue through Wednesday evening.  Rain could be heavy at times and will drop about ½ an inch of rain on Redding.  This system will be pretty warm so snow levels will remain really high – right around 5000 ft. – so snowfall won’t be much of an issue for the vast majority of locations.

By Thursday the system will be completely gone and the sun will come back out.  High pressure builds in from the west and we’ll see the temperatures quickly rebound into the low to mid 70s for the end of the week.
