Cloudy and Cold Today, Rain and Snow Moves in Tonight
Redding, Red Bluff, Chico
Clouds overhead today with rain tonight, starts to clear by Sunday.
The clouds overhead right now will significantly inhibit the sun’s ability to warm us up. Therefore the temperatures will suffer and many areas won’t break out of the 40s. With all the cold air around, the snow levels will be very low as well. Snow could mix in with the rain in Redding overnight into early Sunday morning and it will start to stick closer to 3000 feet. Highest elevations could see up to 4 inches of snow, but that will mainly be above 4000 feet. Through tonight into tomorrow the storm starts to wrap itself up and we’ll only see isolated residual showers on Sunday.
By Monday we start to see the warmer weather move back in, but the sky never quite clears out. It’ll be mostly cloudy with spot showers here and there, the rain ends by Tuesday and we’ll be pushing 60 degrees.
