Cool and Cloudy Tonight, Slightly Warmer This Week

Redding, Red Bluff, Chico

11/11/12 -

Another chilly night tonight, though not as cold as last night.  Temps will rise slightly, but clouds will keep them in the 60’s.

The clouds overhead will remain, and could produce some isolated showers overnight.  Tomorrow the clouds stubbornly stick around up north, with a few areas near Chico breaking out of the clouds briefly.  Temperatures will warm slightly, but will only get to roughly 60 in the valley and around 50 in the mountains.  Tuesday brings the best chance of rain showers, but there isn’t too much energy associated with the system moving in so any rain will be sporadic and light.

The rest of the week is looking nice.  Temperatures will remain in the mid 60’s with mostly cloudy skies and a few isolated showers.  Towards Sunday and Monday of the following week we are watching the possibility of a strong storm to move in for Thanksgiving week.  We’ll keep you posted on any developments.
