9/22/12 -

Happy first day of fall! We’re bringing beautiful weather along for the season change too.

The upper level system which has been threatening us for the past several days with thunderstorms has largely fizzled moisture wise. It will still pass to our northeast, but won’t have any moisture to work with to create any thunderstorms. That said, we are going to be watching gusty winds out of this system and we may see some fire weather watches in the higher elevations due to the low RH and high wind speeds. Otherwise, the rest of the week looks fantastic. We don’t really have much change in the weather for the next several days and will keep our temperatures hovering right around the 91-92 degree mark. With those beautiful temps we’ll have a few clouds, but only enough to make the skies nice and pretty and give a few welcome respites from the sun’s heat.
