Spectacular morning will make for a stunning day for Super Bowl Sunday.
The high pressure system to our west has firmly taken hold and will only allow some overrunning high whispy clouds to form today. Those could obscure the sun just enough to filter it slightly, but won’t have much of an effect on the warming trend. We’ll peak in the mid to upper 60s up and down the valley, with highs peaking in the upper 40s to low 50s in the mountains. Tuesday will see a slight shift as a very weak cold front will move through the region in the early morning hours. It will bring with it some clouds, but no rain. That will come for Thursday as a stronger system moves in from the Gulf of Alaska.
