Sunny Skies Through The Weekend and Early Next Week, Stormy Late Week

11/24/12 -

Early clouds will clear mid morning, allowing for another beautiful sunny day in Northern California.

Temperatures will respond to the early clouds and afternoon sun.  We won’t be quite as warm as today, but we will warm up into the mid 60’s.  Temps will stay nearly level through Tuesday, as the high pressure system overhead will stagnate, allowing for clear skies and warm temps through the beginning of the week.  From there, things go downhill sun wise.

Wednesday will see a large system start to move onshore dropping a huge amount of rain across the NorthState.  This storm is powered by a huge upper level low which won’t move out until early the following week.  Temps will stay nice and cool – in the mid-upper 50’s – through the whole system.  On Friday and Saturday another stronger front will move through, dropping even more rain.  We could be talking a widespread flooding event as this system moves through.  We’ll be keeping a very close eye on this and let you know of any developments as we get them.
