Cool temperatures are firmly in place and will remain for the rest of the week.
After a week of temperatures wildly above average we’re getting ready for almost the same type of thing in the other direction. Although we won’t see temps as low as 15 degrees below average, we’ll bottom out closer to 9 below average. But it will still feel very refreshing outside.
This is all being caused by that huge area of low pressure right off the coast which has finally started to move onshore. Temperatures will stay low for the remainder of the week as the low continues to move to our southeast. This particular storm doesn’t have much moisture with it so we’re not expecting any soaking rain this week, but a few stray sprinkles and showers could mix in for Monday. The showers will stay in the mountains though, so no luck for any rain lovers in the valley. We’ll have to wait a little longer for that.
