Sunshine moves into NorCal and hangs around through the middle of next week.

What a difference a day makes, yesterday was cloudy and cool, and today we’ll clear out most of those clouds and warm it up.  We’ll see valley temperatures in the upper 50’s the farther south you go, and in the low 60’s to the north.  In addition, we’ll be able to bask in the glorious California sunshine once again!

The best news, for the sun lovers out there, is the sunshine will stick around for quite a while.  Instead of the clouds and showers getting hung up off the coast, we’ll have a high pressure system get trapped offshore.  That system will act to bump most of the storms off to the east, or move them to our north.  It will allow us to see some of the effects by way of wind - winds could gust to about 25 mph Saturday and Sunday - but we’ll keep the skies predominantly clear and hold the rain off for a long time.
