Lots of sun will hang around through the weekend, breezy winds and will move in Saturday and Sunday.

High pressure right off the coast will keep things sunny and slightly warmer than yesterday.  We’ll see a few clouds throughout the morning especially in the southern valley near Oroville, Chico and Gridley but those will clear out with the northerly winds.  The sun will allow Redding to peak at 64 this afternoon and Chico at 63.

The weekend will bring breezy north winds due to a low pressure system which will miss us to the east.  That in conjunction with the high pressure system right off the coast will kick the winds up from the north.  I don’t anticipate any wind advisories out of this, but winds could gust to 25mph Sunday afternoon.  From there we keep the sunny skies around and could be a stone’s throw from 70 degrees on Monday to start next week.
