Chilly night makes for a cool Sunday.
Temperatures didn’t quite reach record levels for everyone last night…Redding made it to 30 and Red Bluff to 31 but Chico dropped to 32 beating its record by 1 degree. Temperatures are going to stay chilly all day as cloud cover will limit the amount of sunshine. But it will stay largely dry, with very isolated showers popping up overnight as a weak frontal boundary moves through the area.
Later in the week we’re watching a slight warm up – temps in the low 60’s instead of the upper 50’s – but there is the addition of rain showers to the mix. Several upper level systems will line up and pass through the region, bringing lots of clouds and isolated showers throughout the week.
