Weather Forecast: Another Warm & Sunny Day

Yesterday Redding topped out at 70 degrees, Red Bluff at 72 and Chico at 64 degrees. These well above normal afternoon highs will continue today and Friday.
We’re expecting weaker winds today which means it will be more difficult to see highs in the 70’s in Redding and Red Bluff but it will still be warm with highs in the upper 60’s and more like the mid 60’s in Chico. Although we will see a slight dip in our temperatures as we approach the weekend it will still be mild with highs in the low to mid 60’s at least through Tuesday of next week.
The long range forecast models are hinting at a chance for showers by the middle of next week but the confidence in that solution is fairly low as we are seeing a lot of inconsistency. For now it looks dry at least through Tuesday of next week with a slight chance for showers by next Wednesday.
