Weather Forecast: Breezy, Highs in the 60s This Weekend

High will warm into the low to mid 60 Saturday and Sunday under mostly sunny skies. At the same time a breezy north winds will set up over most of the Northstate.
A north to south jet axis (jet stream) will set up over the Northstate this weekend. This will tighten up the surface pressure gradient allowing for winds to pick up out of the north. Some gusts Saturday night and into Sunday could approach 25-30 mph.
By Monday, high pressure will be at its max as it nudges in from the west. By Tuesday evening, clouds will start to move in from the northwest. The next system will not be an overly strong system, just clouds for the valley floor. The big winner will be some of the mountain locations that could pick up a few snow showers below 4000ft.
