We'll continue to see high clouds moving in from out of the west, southwest today.  Despite the clouds we should still manage to break 70 degrees in the valley floor.  Rain and high mountain snow moves in tomorrow afternoon.  Look for the heaviest rain to arrive near midnight Tuesday night, Wednesday morning.

Highs should top out in the low 70s today for the valley floor, about 5-8 degrees above normal for this time of the year.

The Northstate we'll begin to see pre-frontal showers by Tuesday afternoon, though these showers will only be light to moderate.

Heavier showers with embedded thunderstorms will move into the Northcoast late Tuesday night and track across the Northstate through the overnight hours Wednesday morning.

Snow levels will remain fairly high, likely above 5000ft, so road conditions shouldn't be a huge concern.

We dry out by Wednesday evening and begin a warming trend with sunny weather Thursday through the weekend.
