Despite the added sunshine on Thursday it was cool with highs only reaching the upper 40’s and low 50’s in the valley. There were a few isolated snow flurries in the higher elevations as expected and the chances will continue at least through Friday morning. Speaking of Friday morning it is going to be very cold with lows in the mid to upper 20’s in the valley and teens for the higher elevations, give or take depending on where you are. It won’t be much warmer on Friday with highs once again only making it up to the upper 40’s and low 50’s.
It will be noticeably cooler through the weekend until high pressure slowly builds back over the Northstate next week. This will allow our temperatures to climb back up to the mid to upper 50’s and possibly the 60’s by the end of next week.
