Afternoon highs will continue to trend warmer today and tomorrow for the Northstate. Today's highs in the northern tip of the valley will approach the mid 60s.
The cold mornings will continue with lows in the upper 20’s and low 30’s in the valley but our daytime highs will rebound quite nicely. Redding will be about 7 to 10 degrees warmer than Chico with highs in the mid to upper 60’s and Chico should be looking at highs in the upper 50’s to right around 60.
As long as high pressure stays in control we just don’t see much change in the weather pattern at least through the middle of next week. The long range forecast models have been hinting at a chance for rain by the end of next week but no guarantees at this point.
