A cold front will continue to weaken and exit the Northstate today. Expect clearing skies later this afternoon.
Highs will still manage to make it into mid to upper 60s despite the increased cloud coverage this morning. In fact Glenn and Butte county will likely top 70 degrees, since cloud coverage has already dissolved.
Tomorrow will be the award winning weather day of the week. Highs in the mid 70s, even a few spots reaching the upper 70s.
Our next chance of rain will arrive Saturday evening. We could manage to see some light rain make its way down to the valley floor.
The best chance of rain still remains next Tuesday through Thursday. This stronger upper level trough will bring an initial line of heavy rain, followed by scattered rain and mountain snow. Snow levels will likely drop drastically as we head into Wednesday and into Thursday.
