Tuesday will mark the 7th day in a row of afternoon highs around 10 degrees or higher above normal.  By Wednesday morning rain and snow will begin to overspread the Northstate.

The ridge of high pressure will slowly begin to break down Tuesday ahead of a weakening cold front Wednesday.

Wednesday's system will likely drop less than a .25" of rain for the valley and bring snow levels down to possibly as low as 3500ft.

The ridge rebuilds itself back in by Thursday and Friday  before another storm approaches by Saturday evening.
