Weather Forecast: Mostly Sunny Today, Several Storms on The Horizon
Redding, Chico & Red Bluff
For the most part lingering mountain snow showers will come to an end today. However, another weak system will clip the Northstate late tonight and tomorrow morning.
Highs for the valley will warm to the low to mid 50s today. Another weak low pressure system will scrape the Northstate mainly off to the west, southwest but folks in Siskiyou and Trinity county could see a few snow showers early tomorrow morning.
The next system will begin to move into the Northstate Saturday. Again, not overly wet but it is bringing in some cold air from out of the northwest. So snow levels will once again be fairly low, around 3000ft.
Of the several systems coming in the next 5 days, Monday night's appears to be the wettest. Early estimates would be around .50" of rain for the valley and several inches of snow for the mountains.
