Our temperatures are expected to average in the mid 70’s through Monday of next week with continued high clouds filtering in and out.
With the combination of a strong jet stream over us and a surface area of high pressure to our northwest on Sunday we can expect to see breezy/windy conditions from the north but should die down by Monday.
The forecast models have slowed next week’s storm down a bit and our next chance for rain now looks to arrive Tuesday night into Wednesday. It’s still early to estimate rain and snow totals but preliminary thoughts bring us to about a half of an inch of rain in the valley and slightly higher amounts in the foothills and mountains. We could also see about a foot of snow above 5000 feet. Drier weather is expected on Thursday and Friday of next week.
