Mountain snow shower coverage will actually increase throughout the late morning hours and into the afternoon today.  Overnight lows will continue to drop into the mid 20s for the valley tonight and Friday night.

Drier air will slowly move into the Northstate allowing for overnight lows to dip down to 10-15 degrees below normal for the valley floor.  For the mountains, locations that typically see the cold temperatures, we'll be looking for single digits.

As we progress in to the weekend and in to next week, the Northstate will slowly begin to warm up.

By Tuesday and in to next Wednesday a big ridge of high pressure will move in.  At this time it appears that we could be looking at possible afternoon highs in the valley 10-15 degrees above normal, which would be anywhere from the mid to upper 60s.
