Weather Forecast: Much Quieter The Rest Of The Week
Redding, Chico, Red Bluff
Tuesday ended up being a mixed bag of weather from snow in the mountains to thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail, lightning, thunder, gusty winds and even an EF0 tornado in Gerber. The main area of low pressure responsible for this severe weather will continue to migrate to our south and leave the cool air behind.
Unfortunately, this is about all of the rain and snow we’ll see for a while because the weather pattern is going to keep most of the stormy weather to our north not only the rest of the week but even through most of next week as well. A few storms will skirt Northern California but all we will end up getting out of them is a passing sprinkle or light shower.
Some of the long range forecast models are hinting at some rain by the end of next week but that is a long time form now and a lot can change between now and then.
