More sunshine today with warmer temperatures.  By late Thursday, early Friday a major pattern changes sets up for the Northstate.

For the valley, highs will warm to near 70 degrees today.  We will also expect more sunshine compared to the mid to high level clouds we've seen since this past weekend.

Thursday will be very similar to today with just a few more clouds than this afternoon.  These clouds will be from the first of several low pressure systems to impact the Northstate.  Rain will be around Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  As we move into the late night hours Sunday and into Monday, a surface low off to our north will increase our southerly winds too.

As we look into the long term it appears the stage is set for several more storm systems to move in over the next 10 days.
