Another fantastic day on tap for the Northstate with highs in the mid to upper 70s.  By Halloween afternoon rain will start to move into the Northstate.

The entire Northstate should be seeing rain by the early evening hours tomorrow.   We are also watching the winds for tomorrow too.  Ahead of the cold front look for breezy south winds.  A few models are even showing gusts at or above 30 mph for isolated spots in the valley floor.

This storm will be quick hitting and not nearly as cold as the last storm from last week.

Snow levels likely stay at or above 6000ft late Wednesday.  Might see snow levels dip down to 5000ft as the coldest air arrives but most of the moisture will have already exited.

By Thursday and Friday things start to dry and clear out.  By This weekend afternoon highs will quickly warm back in to the upper 70s.
