Weather Forecast: Noticeably Cooler Today

Afternoon highs will take a dive today. Highs will struggle to even touch 90 degrees for the valley floor. Look for much cooler weather by the weekend.

Ridge of high pressure continues to dampen and get squashed to the south today.  So look for highs to be 7-10 cooler this afternoon than yesterday.

Cooling trend continues all the way through next Monday.

Besides the cooler weather we are also watching the chance of light rain Monday afternoon and evening.  As mentioned over the last few days, the best chances for rain will remain in the higher elevations east and west of the valley floor.
