Weather Forecast: Possible Record Breaking Lows
Redding, Chico, Red Bluff
It’s going to be another cold start to our day on Saturday with lows dropping well below freezing. In fact, we could come close or even break our record lows the next couple of nights. However, the fly in the ointment may be the clouds to our north that are expected to move through tonight. This may help to keep our temperatures from dropping to as low as they potentially could with completely clear skies. Bottom line, it’s expected to be at least as cold Saturday morning as it was on Friday.
It’s not expected to be much warmer on Sunday but as high pressure builds back over the Northstate starting next week we will see significantly warmer weather. We’ll still start out in the low to mid 30’s but day time highs will climb to the low to mid 60’s starting as early as Tuesday and lasting through the week.
It’s a good thing we are well above 100% of average for the rain season because we’re just not seeing much in the way of wet weather anytime soon.
