The ridge of high pressure responsible for the unusually warm weather for this time of year in the valley has finally broken down as the first storm in a while moves through.  Even though we’re not experiencing heavy rain it’s a slow moving storm and the valley could pick up about a half of an inch (give or take depending on where you are) by Thursday morning.  Look for partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures in Thursday with highs in the upper 50’s to low 60’s in the valley.

We’ve got an unsettled weather pattern setting up for Friday through Sunday with partly to mostly cloudy skies and a chance for sprinkles/light showers from time to time.  Snow levels will start off around 5000 feet on Friday eventually dropping to as low as 3000 feet by Sunday as some cooler air settles in.

Monday , Tuesday and Wednesday of next week will be dry with temperatures climbing back up to the low 60’s by the middle of next week.
