Look for another above average day with smoky and hazy skies in the valley floor. Mountains and valley will need to watch both the winds and moisture from the south today.
We are watching moisture from the south working it's way up the spine of the Sierra. And this moisture is actually what is leftover of what was once Hurricane John. Our models continue to show the bulk of the moisture staying south and east. However, given our dry conditions, I am still concerned with any little thunderstorm activity that could possibly make it here late tonight and early tomorrow.
Look for highs to stay in the low to mid 90s for the vally the next few days.
