Dry northerly winds will continue to pick tonight through the overnight hours.  Red Flag warning remains in effect for the valley floor through 7:00 pm Wednesday.

High pressure continue to rush in behind yesterday and today's low pressure system.  The surface pressure gradient should strengthen enough late tonight to see winds gusting over 30 mph.

With that high pressure in place we'll also see highs 10-15 degree above normal with lots of sunshine.

High pressure peaks by tomorrow, early Thursday which will make these two days the warmest of the next 7.

Highs will continue to drop Friday, Saturday and even more dramatic drop by Sunday into next Tuesday.

This is all thanks to our first big wet system of the season.  With it still 5-6 days away we will continue to monitor this potential fire season end the closer we get to it and iron out the details.
