The main cold front slid through the Northstate earlier this morning, bringing pockets of heavy rain to mountains,  foothills and valley.  We can expect scattered showers for the remainder of the day before clearing out tonight.

At the Redding airport we've picked up over .50" so far and just over .40" in Chico.  We can expect to boost those totals with scattered showers and maybe a few isolated thunderstorms the remainder of the day.

Winds will also continue to gust out of the south, with a few gusts over 30 mph.

Snow levels for the most part have remained over 5000ft and should only drop a few hundred through tonight.

Expect widespread clearing by late tonight and sunny skies and warmer conditions by Thursday.
