A weak cold front will bring showers to the Northstate today. Snow levels will remain high until colder air moves in this weekend.
Pre-frontal moisture continues to bring very light showers to the Northstate, including a few down to the valley floor.
The main front will push through this evening and tonight. Overall, precipitation totals will remain low and less than a .10" for most of the valley.
Cold air, mainly aloft, will move in Saturday and Sunday. This will allow for an unstable air-mass and allow for a few isolated showers to pass through Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
However, a lot of locations will see partly to mostly sunny skies outside of these passing showers.
A ridge of high pressure will slide back in by Tuesday, warming and drying out the Northstate.
