Weather Forecast: Sunday Looks To Be Much Quieter
Redding, Chico, Red Bluff
Local Watches and Warnings:
The third and final storm has finally moved through and the worst is behind us. Heavy rain and gusty winds were to two main elements of this storm. Early Sunday morning the Redding Airport picked up a gust of 66 mph, Red Bluff 62 mph and Chico 55 mph. Winds this strong were able to easily blow down trees and and power lines with countless reports of power outages across the Northstate.
We will continue to see isolated showers Sunday morning but it should be mainly dry for all of us by the afternoon.
We’ll see a completely dry day on Monday before the next significantly weaker storm moves in on Tueday and lasting into Wednesday with the valley only picking up about a half of a inch of rain once all is said and done.
