High pressure continues to dominate the weather pattern over the Northstate giving the valley sunny skies with highs in the 60’s.  It’s obviously been cooler in the mountains with highs in the 30’s, 40’s and even 50’s depending on where you are.

We expect more of the same through at least the beginning of next week as the ridge of high pressure hangs tight.  The forecast models have been hinting at breaking down this ridge of high pressure by Wednesday giving us not only cooler temperatures but also a chance for light showers.

This will mark the beginning of changes in our weather pattern bringing us back to what we typically see around here this time of year with cooler temperatures and a better chance of rain.  At this point we’re not seeing anything all that impressive as far as rain is concerned with highs in the mid to upper 50’s.
