A strong north wind in Redding and Red Bluff helped to contribute to highs in the low 70’s along with the sunny skies as high pressure continues to build over the Northstate.  Chico saw south winds all day keeping temperatures in the mid 60’s.

We’re expecting weaker winds tomorrow which means it will be more difficult to see highs in the 70’s in Redding and Red Bluff but it will still be warm with highs in the upper 60’s and more like the mid 60’s in Chico.  Although we will see a slight dip in our temperatures as we approach the weekend it will still be mild with highs in the low to mid 60’s at least through Tuesday of next week.

The long range forecast models are hinting at a chance for showers by the middle of next week but the confidence in that solution is fairly low as we are seeing a lot of inconsistency.  For now it looks dry at least through Tuesday of next week with a slight chance for showers by next Wednesday.
