A large ridge of high pressure will continue to amplify and build over the Northstate the next few day.  By Friday the entire valley will warm to 70 degrees or warmer.

Northerly winds continue to blow through the valley floor today as the pressure gradient remains high as high pressure spills in from out of the west.

From today all the way through Friday we will likely gain 1-2 degrees of warming each day.

It is very likely we could even see some mid 70s by Friday afternoon in the northern tip of the valley floor.

Slight cooling is expecting Saturday through Monday before an even bigger drop in temperatures as our next chance of valley rain and mountain snow returns to the Northstate on Tuesday.
