Winter Storm Warnings were allowed to expire early due to strong south winds that brought warmer conditions to the northern valley and also the Burney Basin.

The Northstate has another round of heavy rain in parts of the valley and heavy snow in the mountains at least through early Saturday morning before it tapers off a bit through the afternoon.
The third and final storm will move through late Saturday night into Sunday morning giving us our last round of heavy rain and mountain snow.
We will see a break from the wet weather on Monday before we see another chance for showers on Christmas day.
