It didn’t get quite as warm as we initially thought but it was still a warm day with highs in the low to mid 70’s in the valley. Wednesday will be the peak of the warming trend with highs in the mid to upper 70’s under mostly sunny skies.
The ridge of high pressure responsible for the above average temperatures will start to slowly break down after Wednesday. As a result our temperatures will see a gradual decrease but we will still see highs in the low to mid 70’s at least through the beginning of next week under mainly sunny skies.
The long range forecast models are hinting at a chance for rain by Wednesday of next week but even if that does materialize it doesn’t look all that impressive.
