Valley highs will warm to the low 60s today under mostly sunny skies. Mountain snow showers will also diminish throughout the day.
High pressure centered over the eastern Pacific will slowly move eastward the next few days. The ridge will amplify just west of the Northstate but close enough to warm the northern valley to mid to upper 60s both Wednesday and Thursday.
With such a stable air mass in place, fog will also be a concern in the overnights and mornings.
The ridge slowly breaks down this weekend, bringing highs back to near normals, which is the upper 50s for this time of the year.
Next chance of rain appears to be next Tuesday night and into Wednesday.
