Minus some clouds and even a few sprinkles in some of the higher elevations on Monday it turned out to be a beautiful day in the valley with highs in the mid 50’s and low 60’s. We expect more of the same on Tuesday with a little more sunshine helping some of us in the valley to possibly reach the mid 60’s.
The next storm will arrive on Wednesday giving the Northstate another round of light rain and snow. Snow levels are expected to be somewhere between 2000 and 3000 feet depending on the location. Since it’s a fairly weak storm any rain and snow we do see will be on the light side.
Minus a few isolated mountain sprinkles/showers we’ll dry things out on Thursday but we’ve got some cold air moving in from the Gulf of Alaska with highs only reaching the mid to upper 40’s. It will remain cool and dry through the weekend with highs in the low 50’s.
