Weather Forecast: Well Above Normal Highs Today & Tomorrow
Redding, Chico & Red Bluff
Overnight lows only made it down to the low to mid 50s for most of the valley this morning. Expect highs anywhere from the low to mid 70s for the valley today with a few isolated upper 70s possible.
The same ridge of high pressure, that is currently in place, is expected to break down starting this weekend but will remain dry with highs in the mid to upper 60’s. The long range forecast models are starting to align on the chance for rain by Tuesday of next week. It doesn’t look all that impressive but at this point we’ll take what we can get. It also looks like a fairly cold storm with snow levels around 2500 feet. We’ll keep a close eye on this and keep you informed as we get closer to next week.
