Weather Forecast: Wet Through The Middle Of Next Week
Redding, Chico, Red Bluff
We will be between storms on Saturday so anything we see throughout the day is expected to be light and brief. Storm number two will arrive Saturday evening giving us another round of moderate to heavy rain for most of us. It looks like this storm will bring in some colder air than we initially thought and we could see snow levels down to as low as 4000 feet Saturday night and Sunday. The National Weather Service has issued several Winter Weather Advisories for the mountains. Click the following link for details. http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/sto/
There will also some wind associated with this storm and we could see gusts over 30 mph on Saturday, Sunday and possibly into Monday of next week. The National Weather Service has also issued a few Wind Advisories for parts of the mountains. You can click the link in the first paragraph for more details.
“Unsettled” will be the word for most of next week with a mixture of sun, clouds and isolated showers at least through Wednesday and may even last into Thanksgiving Day. Temperatures will hover right around 60 degrees, give or take and snow levels are not expected to drop below 5000 feet.
