The storm is delivering as expected with periods of heavy rain and gusty winds.  So far the highest wind gust in the valley has been in Redding at 45 mph with Red Bluff not far behind at 44 mph and Chico gusting to 32 mph.  The Wind Advisory for the Northern Sacramento Valley is still in effect until midnight with gusts subsiding for most of us by Wednesday morning.

There will still be a chance for isolated showers throughout the day on Wednesday but anything we do see is not expected to be all that impressive.  Mostly sunny skies are expected on both Thanksgiving and Black Friday with highs in the mid to upper 60’s.

The dry weather will stick around this weekend and should last through at least the middle of next week before some of the long range forecast models bring some more wet weather into the forecast.
